Grill ‘Em All Opens First Brick And Mortar Restaurant! @GrillEmAllTruck

January 18, 2013 at 3:12 pm

On Saturady, Jan 19, 2013, Grill ‘Em All launches their 1st restaurant!  Here is their press release:

GRILL ‘EM ALL Invades Alhambra Opening Their First Brick and Mortar Saturday January 19th

Alhambra, CA (Jan 9th, 2012) – Grill Em All has been conquering the roads of Los Angeles with their gastronomic powerhouse food truck for three years blazing a trail for gourmet burgers and pushing the limits of food truck tom foolery. After standing triumphant at the end of the Great Food Truck Race finish line (Food Network) and being crowned the Best Thing I Ever Ate (Cooking Channel) the demand for their beef grew to the immeasurable heights only comparable to Iron Maiden ticket sales in 1987. A move had to be made, an attack deployed and attack they shall as the doors of Grill Em All Alhambra AKA Valhalla opens on Saturday January, 19th!

Valhalla (19 East Main Street Alhambra, CA 91801) sits in the center of the Alhambra Renaissance Center in the bustling downtown intersection of East Main and Garfield Ave. The décor is nothing short of balls to the wall; heavy metal posters strewn about, televisions, loud music and original art work by Grill Em house artist Andy Anderson. The ghouls, burger warrior and burger wizard are back with vengeance.

San Bernardino County loosens food truck rules

June 8, 2012 at 3:06 pm

And, by loosening rules, I mean that food trucks are now actually able to serve in SB county outside of the occasional special event.  Here is the relevant quote from the PE article:

On Tuesday, June 5, the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved rules allowing food trucks to expand their presence, although they will still not be allowed to roam freely as they do in other counties.

Under the guidelines, which go into effect in July, food trucks can operate only at specific locations after getting a permit, but they will be allowed to do so for extended periods. A property-owner could open a food truck lot, for example.
